In consideration for the Racer named above (“my child”) participating in the High Bridge Soap Box Derby, I certify that, (a) as the legal parent/guardian of my child, I grant permission for my child to enter the Derby on June 7, 2025, and (b) my child and I have read the above information and that it is true, and that we agree to the terms in this Registration Form. I agree to the following: Any and all expenses incurred in transporting my child and his/her car to and from the race shall be at my sole expense. Any and all expenses incurred in building or repairing my child’s car shall be at my sole expense. I will meet all deadlines and schedules from time-to-time established by High Bridge for the performance of the acts and the submission of documentation and information to High Bridge. I certify that my child’s car was constructed in all respects in accordance with the current Official Rules governing the Derby. I understand and agree that, as a prerequisite to competing in the Derby, my child, together with his/her car, shall have undergone and passed an inspection conducted by High Bridge, in its sole discretion, to determine compliance with its rules, spirit and specifications applicable to my child’s division in the Derby and that the decisions of High Bridge and its officials regarding qualification and disqualification and compliance with the rules, spirit and specifications applicable to that division shall be final and binding upon me, my child and all other parties. I understand that such an inspection is not a safety inspection and that I am solely responsible for the safety of my child’s car. I consent on my behalf and on behalf of my child that any and all videotapes, films, photographs, motion pictures and/or audio recordings (collectively “recordings”) made of my child or my child’s voice relative to the Derby may be used by High Bridge, and its representatives, volunteers, employees, officers, officials, sponsors, agents, assignees, licensees and/or successors (collectively “representatives”), in whatever way they desire, including but not limited to for television programs and/or any other publicity. Furthermore, we agree that any such recordings shall at all times be the property of High Bridge, which shall have the sole right, title and interest to sell, duplicate, reproduce or make other uses of such recordings as it may desire, free and clear of any claim whatsoever on our part and we therefore waive any right to inspect or approve those recordings. Finally, my child and I waive and release all claims, rights, causes of action and demands, whether for personal injuries, property damage or any other losses, damages or expenses that I and/or my child may have against High Bridge Soap Box Derby and/or its representatives arising from or in any manner related to my child’s participation in the Derby and/or any activities incidental or related thereto, including but not limited to arising from or in connection with recordings of the Derby. *
